Sorbitol Dehydrogenase (SDH) Control Material Available From DCL

Oxford, CT . . . Diagnostic Chemicals Limited (DCL) has announced the availability of a new Sorbitol Dehydrogenase (SDH) quality control material to its comprehensive line of veterinary diagnostic products.  This two-level control material provides both normal and abnormal target values across critical areas of the testing range, providing verification of the reliability of test results.  The availability of this control material provides both veterinary research and clinical laboratories with a complete test system for the definition of this important marker of liver damage.

Featuring a shelf-life of 18 months, a reconstitution stability of 7 days and a convenient packaging configuration of 6 x 2 mL, this two-level SDH control complements DCL’s current SDH reagent test kit formats, allowing added flexibility for testing requirements.

DCL also offers a full line of liquid stable diagnostic reagents and control materials applicable for veterinary use, including Albumin, Amylase, Bile Acids, Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), Lipase and Total Bilirubin.
