DCL Launches New HDL-Advance™ and LDL-Advance™ Assays

Oxford, CT . . . Diagnostic Chemicals Limited (DCL) has announced the availability of its new direct enzymatic, ready-to-use, liquid stable HDL-ADVANCE and LDL-ADVANCE assays. These new assays provide cost effective alternatives for convenient and accurate lipoprotein testing.  Each assay utilizes a unique selective inhibition technology.  Physician office, hospital and reference laboratories will benefit from the availability of these assays as the use of direct, liquid stable lipoprotein methods eliminates the need for reagent reconstitution and sample pre-treatment, thereby saving time, labor and reducing potential errors.

Both DCL’s HDL-ADVANCE and LDL-ADVANCE assays feature reliable on-board and calibration stability.  Each offers a wide reportable range: up to 180 mg/dL for HDL-ADVANCE and 400 mg/dL for LDL-ADVANCE. The assays display superior performance characteristics with regard to accuracy, precision, sensitivity and specificity. 

HDL-ADVANCE and LDL-ADVANCE assays are available in a number of separate, operator-oriented packaging configurations, with a combination HDL/LDL calibrator included with most kit formats.  DCL also offers a separate HDL/LDL-ADVANCE Calibrator kit to complement larger package configurations.
